About Basic Life Support Course
Basic Life Support (BLS) is a CPR course that is made for healthcare professionals who may have to perform CPR in-hospital or out-of-hospital situations or as part of a resuscitation team. This course is required for most nursing, EMT, and Medical students.
This course covers adult, children, and infant CPR, AED (defibrillator), and choking. Some of the topics include bag-valve mask ventilation, rescue breathing, two-rescuer CPR, CPR with an advanced airway. There will be a written test as well. Once completed, a two-year American Heart Association e-card certification will be issued.
About Hybrid Basic Life Support (BLS) Course
In this course, the student completes an online course prior to attending the hands-on session.
This is an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider Hands-on session. This is a blended learning delivery method combining eLearning and hands-on learning.
Students will provide a certificate of completion for the eLearning to complete the hands-on session.
